Winchester Warriors co-ordinates and supports junior cricket in our part of Hampshire. We have 22 member clubs including guest members from elsewhere in Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Our part of Hampshire covers clubs in Amport and Andover through to Hedge End and Fair Oak. We work with other District Associations that cover the rest of the county.

We run summer and winter competitions, leagues, friendlies and knockouts for open (mixed) teams and girls-only teams. We co-ordinate around 600 fixtures every year, for 115 teams giving opportunities to more than 2000 junior cricketers.

Winchester Warriors runs the district level coaching for girls who are nominated by their clubs, and we’re part of the county programme for inter-district competitions. Boys’ coaching at district/region level is provided by Hampshire Cricket.

We offer training opportunities and other support to all our member clubs and volunteers. We’re affiliated to the Hampshire Cricket Board and the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Winchester Warriors’ plans and programmes are shaped by member clubs who meet 3 times a year, delegating the operational work to the WW Committee.

We expect all member clubs to follow the district, county and national policies on safeguarding in cricket.

And we help children, young people and families to enjoy cricket, whether playing, organising, umpiring, scoring, helping a player or a team, learning about cricket, making new friends, and having some fun!
