DATES FOR CUP AND PLATE COMPETITIONS 2010
Winchester Warriors runs three summer season
knockout competitions in addition to the friendly and leagues programmes:
- The Oliver Cup and Plate for Under 11s
- The Barfoot Cup and Plate for Under 13s
- The Millard Cup and Plate for Under 15s
These competitions are named after well known and much respected cricketers who gave their time and commitment to junior cricket in the District. The Cup and Plate fixtures are arranged across the season so that if the weather intervenes there is an opportunity to play on an alternative date without disrupting the whole competition or the league and friendly fixtures. Dates for these competitions have been amended since the first draft, to time the finals before the school holidays. The draws for these competitions are on the WWJC website.

Under 11 Oliver Cup
Round 1 – Sunday 30th May
Round 2 – Sunday 13th June
Round 3 – Sunday 27th June
Semi Final – Sunday 11th July
Final - Sunday 18th July -- Venue to be confirmed
Under 11 Oliver Plate
Round 1 – Sunday 20th June
Round 2 – Sunday 27 June
Round 3 – Sunday 4th July
Semi Final – Sunday 11th July

Under 13 Barfoot Cup
Round 1 – Sunday 30th May

NOTES FOR THE OLIVER AND BARFOOT COMPETITIONS:
- All Cup fixtures take precedence over friendly fixtures. Friendly fixtures that are postponed can be played in later weeks.
- Clubs not involved in Cup / Plate matches can identify potential opposition from the WWJC website.
- If Cup/Plate matches are postponed from a Sunday because of the weather, they must be played on the following Wednesday. (If postponed for weather from the Weds, the Committee – delegated to the Results Secretary if available - will direct the replacement date).
- For the Plate, all teams which lose in either round 1 or 2 of the Cup will automatically enter the Plate competition following Round 2 of the Cup. Fixtures Live will organise the draw and it will be published on the website.

Notes:
