Model club coaching structure

The following is hypothetical and does not reflect any individual club within Hampshire but this may prove a useful tool to provide your club with some form of guidance as to an ideal structure that copes with such issues as ClubMark accreditation.

"XYZ" C.C have the following teams amongst their junior section, with a total of 138 children, as follows:

One U17’s team

One U15’s team

Two U13’s teams

Two U11’s teams (playing in hard ball competition)

One U9’s team

An U7’s section comprising of 18 children

Junior Girls section comprising of 15 girls playing in an U13 league

The following coaching ratios have been observed:

Net Coaching 1:8

Group Coaching 1:24

Hard Ball Coaching 1:16

The following supervision ratios have also been observed via coaches and volunteers

Aged 8 and under 1:8

Aged 9 and over 1:10

The model above is "THE" IDEAL solution to this club’s "NEEDS" and is the ultimate in good practice.
