Hedge End

Hedge End Junior Cricket Club aims to foster and promote the sport of cricket at junior level within the community and within the sport, providing opportunities for recreation, coaching and competition.

The club aims to ensure that all members, playing and non-playing, abide by the ECB Code of Conduct which incorporates the Spirit of Cricket and keep to the Laws of Cricket.

HEJCC has been established since October 2007 to provide fun cricket training and matches for girls and boys within a friendly community atmosphere. Run by members of the local community with coaching qualifications and DBS checks and with additional professional training provided by the Elite International Cricket Academy.

We have been well supported by Hedge End Town Council with provision of our Home Ground at Turnpike Way which includes Outdoor Training Nets and an Artificial Pitch.

We are an ambitious Club as we strive to provide an excellent environment for players, coaches, family and friends to enjoy the great sport of cricket.

We currently have Under 9, U11, U13, and U15 squads as well as a men’s team.

Unlike some cricket clubs HEJCC trains throughout the year. Summer outdoor training and matches are held at Turnpike Way, Hedge End and at the Botley Recreation Ground. Winter indoor training is run at a variety of locations including Swanmore College, Hamble School and Wildern School. During the winter we also take part in the South Hampshire Indoor Cricket League.

Children from the age of 6 are welcome to join.

Costs are currently £18.50 per month (payable by standing order). Discounts are offered for more than one child in a family.

Try before you buy ! We are very happy for your child to join a couple of training sessions FREE of charge before making a decision to join the club.

We’re members of Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket, the District Association for junior cricket, and the club is affiliated to the Hampshire Cricket Board. Our coaches, managers and parent helpers are DBS checked and we make sure they take part in regular refresher training.
