Hursley Park

A warm welcome awaits you at Hursley Park Cricket Club.

Founded in 1785 and based at our current location The Quarters, Hursley Park near Winchester for over 70 years, our Club provides facilities for our members and the local community to play cricket on award winning grounds and to enjoy refreshments at the Clubhouse, whilst supporting the teams.

With 4 Saturday teams, a Sunday team, Cup teams and midweek teams, a strong junior section and 2 Women’s teams, we welcome players of any age, ability or gender to share an enjoyment of cricket, nurture new talent and build a sense of community and team spirit. HPCC was awarded Clubmark status in 2005.

We have a thriving junior section, with teams playing at U9, U11, U13 and U15 age groups. A vibrant girls section plays in the U16 age group.

We are also taking part in the ECB’s All Stars programme which aims to encourage children aged 9 and under, to take part in cricket in an engaging and fun way.

Saying that, all our sessions are great fun, whether indoors from January to Easter at Thornden School or once we move outside to the Club’s fantastic grounds, with dedicated training nights for each age group, ensuring players reach their full potential at Club, Regional or County level.

We’re members of Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket, the District Association for junior cricket, and the club is affiliated to the Hampshire Cricket Board. Our enthusiastic junior coaches and junior leaders are DBS checked and we make sure they take part in regular refresher training for coaches.
