Tichborne Park

Tichborne Park Cricket Club lies just outside the market town of New Alresford, within picturesque and historic Tichborne Park. Cricket has been played in Alresford for over 200 years, and in the Tichborne Park estate since the 19th century.

The Club now has a 1st XI playing in the Southern Premier Cricket League, two other senior men’s teams, a ladies team, and a thriving junior section. Further details about the Club can be found at www.tichborneparkcc.co.uk.

TICHBORNE PARK COLTS

We provide opportunities for children aged from 5 to 15 to play cricket. We are an All Stars Cricket Centre providing a great first experience in cricket for the youngest children, whilst the older ones can improve their skills by learning from our qualified coaches and playing matches against other clubs in the local area (we are members of Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket, the District Association for junior cricket).

Our aim is to introduce youngsters to the sport and encourage them to be best they can be, but the emphasis is on fun! We are a family club and have social activities such as BBQs and outings to the Ageas Bowl to experience the razzmatazz of professional T20 games.

In the spring term our young cricketers train indoors at Perins School Sports Hall in Alresford, and in the summer term there’s no better place for grown-ups to be than at the Park on a sunny evening in an idyllic setting – lending a helping hand or simply relaxing, sipping a drink and watching the children train in a fun safe environment.
