INFORMATION FOR JUNIOR ORGANISERSSummer Season 20111 FIXTURES All summer season fixtures are shown on the WW Junior Cricket website: www.wwjc.co.uk All fixtures have a unique match number. Please keep a note of that number and use it whenever it would help identify a fixture. It is essential to use match numbers when reporting results. 2 RULES and PLAYING ARRANGEMENTS The Rules for all WW fixtures are also on the website. They have been revised for 2011. Organisers and Managers should check the rules before matches, to avoid any difficulties during matches. 3 RESULTS We have simplified the reporting arrangements for Summer season fixtures. The home team must report the result to the Results Co-ordinator for that age group by midnight following the scheduled date of the match. This is essential and must be carried out for every match, whether it is played, postponed or cancelled. There is a penalty for missing the deadline or not reporting: £5 will be charged to the club for each time a result is not reported within the deadline. Clubs have paid a £50 deposit at the beginning of the season, refundable if all fixtures are fulfilled (excepting weather reasons of course), and if all results are reported within the deadline. Instructions for reporting results: The home team must report the result of their match to the Result Co-ordinator for that age group. There is no form. Reporting is by text or email. Any result (or cancellation/ postponement) must be reported by midnight following the scheduled date for the match. The report can be by text or email and must include A, B, C and D: A: Match number (from the fixture list) B: Home team score and wickets down C: Away team score and wickets down D: Result: xxxxxx beat yyyyyy by ZZ runs or wickets. That’s the result done, now the performances. 4 PERFORMANCES The Performance Report should be sent to the Result Co-ordinator within 5 days of the match. The report must be on the WW Performance Report proforma. This is available on the WW website: www.wwjc.co.uk The submission of a performance report is very useful to the Association and all clubs because the report provides evidence of good performances for the results co-ordinators, coaching and development work, and publicity/media reports. The Committee will receive information from the Results Co-ordinators about good performances that are reported. 5 RESULTS CO-ORDINATORS Results Co-ordinator for Under 9s matches: Helen Ley, 13 Harestock Road, Winchester SO22 6LS Tel: 01962 881101 mob: 07787 833860 e-mail: jimandh@ley29.wanadoo.co.uk Results Co-ordinator for Under 11s matches: Carole Warmington, 18 Mill Street, Eastleigh SO50 4HE Tel: 023 8036 0323 mob: 07919 994381 e-mail: carole.warmington@hants.gov.uk Results Co-ordinator for Under 13s matches: Colin Smith, 70 St Cross Road, Winchester SO23 9PS Tel: 01962 849544 mob: 07715 990079 e-mail: colin@mrcc.globalnet.co.uk Results Co-ordinator for Under 15s matches: Malcolm Berryman, Otterbourne Manor, Kiln Lane, Otterbourne, Winchester SO21 2EN Tel: 01962 711608 mob: 07831 224494 e-mail: malcolm.berryman@gmail.com These and other contact details are on the website: http://www.wwjc.co.uk/2010-committee-members-and-key-contacts.htm 6 PRESENTATION EVENING Trophies and individual medals will be presented to the winners of the Leagues, Cups and Plates Competitions at the Winchester Warriors Annual Presentation Evening on Thursday 22 September 2011, at 7.00 for 7.30pm at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.
